People come to yoga for so many reasons. In 25 years of practicing and 14 years of teaching yoga, I’ve seen hundreds. Chronic pain. Spiritual need. Curiosity. Recovering from injury. Athletic goals. And more and more.
What stays the same, though, is what students need from their teacher — the ability to meet them exactly where they are in their practice.
I call this intuitive awareness, and it is the heart of my work as a teacher. When you practice with me in private lessons or group classes, I draw from my diverse trainings to meet you where you are in order to support and guide you in where you want to go.
I teach weekly, all-level classes at my beautiful studio at 83 Court Street – at Aloha Keene. I also offer private and small-group instruction. Come find the best class for you and your yoga practice!
I am a certified yoga instructor, having trained at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health and with the School Yoga Institute. I’ve received certifications at the 200, 500, 800, and 1,000-hour level, which grants me the authority to facilitate yoga teacher trainings.
Some of my favorite yoga teachers, from whom I’ve been fortunate enough to learn, include Gabby Bernstein, Seane Corn, Sharon Gannon, Tao Porchon Lynch, Julie Lusk, Todd Norian, Snatam Kaur. I’ve also studied mantra with Namadeva Archarya, Thomas Ashley-Farrand.
I look forward to meeting you on the mat!
